Add and organise room tabs

  1. 1

    Add

Use the plus control beside the room tabs to add another blank room to the project.

  2. 2

    Rename

Give each tab a useful name such as Kitchen, Bathroom, Existing layout or Option B.

  3. 3

    Duplicate

Duplicate a room when you want to compare alternative layouts without rebuilding the starting plan.

  4. 4

    Reorder

Drag tabs into the order in which you want people to review the project.

  5. 5

    Delete

Remove a room you no longer need. Keep a saved backup before deleting substantial work.

Room tabs versus enclosed rooms

A single tab can contain several connected or enclosed spaces, such as an open-plan kitchen and living area. Separate tabs are best for different rooms, floors, design options or before-and-after versions.

Save the whole project

Save and editable PNG backup include all room tabs, not only the tab currently visible. When the project is reopened, the tabs and their order are restored.

You can use separate tabs for rooms, floors, alternatives or phases. Each tab is planned independently rather than as a vertically connected building model.
