A plan appears to be missing
- 1
Check Recent Plans
Open the Load flow and look for a recent local version.
- 2
Use the original browser
Autosave is stored on the device and browser where the plan was created.
- 3
Open a backup
Load the editable PNG you downloaded when saving, or reopen the cloud share link.
- 4
Avoid clearing site data
Clearing browser storage can remove local autosaves and recent versions.
A download does not start
- Allow downloads for freeroomplanner.com in the browser address-bar permissions.
- Press the manual Download button shown in the Save window.
- On mobile, check the browser's Downloads or Files location rather than the photo library.
- Keep the page open until a 3D photo finishes rendering.
Drawing or moving feels unexpected
- Press Escape to cancel the current tool, then choose Select and Move.
- Check whether snapping is on. Hold Alt or disable it temporarily for free movement.
- Zoom in before selecting small walls, openings or overlapping items.
- Detach a connected wall before trying to move it independently.
- On touch devices, use the Pan tool for reliable one-finger canvas movement.
3D does not look as expected
- Make sure the walls form a usable room and check wall lengths for accidental tiny segments.
- Return to 2D and confirm that items are inside the correct room.
- Some library items use a simplified 3D representation while retaining their plan dimensions.
- Try reloading the page after saving a backup if the renderer stops responding.
